Amazon Kindle 2

The kindle 2 has revolutionized eBook reading, it is one third of an inch, almost paper thin. It also has 3g compatibilities, and weights a lightweight 10.2 ounces. It holds about 1500 books, but you still have to buy the books, since there is so many variability, I will make a pro and con list.

Kindle 2 Pro

The Pro’s in kindle 2 is that it lightweight

It environment friendly, doesn’t use paper.

Clean interference

Long battery life, I tested it on my friend’s house.

Cool feature, that reads to you

You can get New York Times on the Kindle 2

Everyone has a personal kindle email. Cool

Kindle 2 cons

It is expensive, $300 for a gadget that can perform only one function.

It is the price, of an I-phone, if I had to choose I’d rather buy an I-Phone because there is an app on the I-phone that enables you to read eBooks.

No direct .pdf support

The price of buying the eBook file is a bit discounted from the actual book!

That about it, I like to keep my article simple, but effective and from the looks the pro’s seem to outweigh the cons

PERFORMANCE Performance wise the kindle 2 is faster than the first kindle, the pages turn faster and it’s the FEEL that is seems faster, for more accurate result are benchmarks

PORTABALITY The portability for the kindle 2 is great, it weighs 10.2 ounces and it can hold 1500 books with-in it. If each book weighs 7oz and it can hold 1500 books, which would be 659 pounds of books! This is the ++

PRICE The price is the real killer, you can get the I-Phone for the price of the kindle 2, the I-phone has way more compatibility. Yet the I-phone can perform the same function as the kindle 2.

RELIABILITY I feel that it kind of flimsy, the material used in the kindle 2. I have a feeling that it has good quality, as long as you don’t step on it, J

I-phone S

The I-phone S just came out! Nothing has changed much from its predecessor; the I-Phone 3G. The looks are about the same, here is a picture.

The I-Phone S has changed in the means of speed; the apps load approx 2x faster and major improvement in the camera works, picture quality has improved, and also there is video mode. J

The battery life has also improved, by a little, nothing much to say. Also, now you will be able to issue voice command, but I say it a fail, because it detects too much background sounds and it gets confused, and gives you an error.

Lazy man’s review

Performance In the new I-phone the performance has been deeply improved, and it does live up to it “name” (I-Phone S, S for speed).

Portability nothing has much changed from the previous models.

Price The I-Phone will be priced at 200usd for 16 GB and 300usd for 32 GB; this will lower the older I phone 3g to 100usd. The bad news is that you will need to sign up for an AT&T contract, unless you buy a unlocked I-Phone S on eBay.

Reliability My experience with apple is very good, I had an I-pod and it lasted me approx 4 years before I stepped on it.

Asus X83VB-X2 review

This one of the best laptops for non-hardcore gamers, it has a great gpu/video card with dedicated memory and also it is very portable, the screen is kind of small, which I don’t like, but what I love about this laptop is the glossy screen, it is great for watching videos. The bad part of this laptop is that it’s cpu, it is a bit slow for the price tag, and also the hard drive 250gb is a very little compared to laptops the same price. Memory wise is great; 4 GB is good enough to handle a lot of process and programs running. The keyboards are pretty good; they are a bit loud, need to be more silent. The material is ok, it doesn’t feel cheap, yet it doesn’t feel like it can handle everything you throw at it, Overall I would recommend it, for semi gamers, if you play the hottest games like GTA 4, I wouldn’t recommend this laptop.

Performance the computer is great performance wise, just has a slow CPU.

Portability The laptop is very portable, it is also light weight.

Price The price is a bit expensive, I would rather buy a desktop, but laptop wise it is ok, it not too expensive.

Reliability ASUS makes a lot of pc component, and I’d say the life for this laptop is going to be pretty long, as long as you don’t overclock it or screw it up with a virus.
